Join us for a FREE Naloxone* training session, the first Thursday of every month from 5 - 6 pm. Participants will learn about overdose prevention and how to correctly administer Naloxone. If you live or work with someone who is at risk for an opioid overdose, this training is for you.
This training is open to the public. Anyone who may come in contact with someone who is using an opiate or opioid may attend including professionals, community members, and concerned family members.
This community training session is being provided by the Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP) and hosted by Lourdes Youth Services Alcohol and Drug Education Prevention Team (ADEPT).
*Naloxone is an opioid antidote. Opioids include heroin and prescription pain pills like morphine, codeine, oxycodone, methadone, and Vicodin.
