Career shadowing experiences are offered to students in high school or beyond for the purpose of observing job responsibilities and procedures associated with a particular discipline or healthcare career. The duration of a shadowing experience is not more than 2 days or a maximum of 16 hours.
Due to the popularity of our Career Shadowing program, we are only able to accept the first 10 applications per month.
- Applicants must complete a Lourdes Career Shadowing Application form.
- The selection of interns/shadows shall be made without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, handicap, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, or any other legally protected factors.

These requirements may include: reference and background checks, pre-employment health assessment including physical, proof of immunizations and drug test, signature on code of conduct, confidentiality agreement and other relevant documents, and volunteer or hospital orientation.
