An on-call physician may be reached by calling the office
telephone number. The answering service will assist you.
Walk-In Hours:
Walk-In care is available daily from
8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. No appointments are necessary
to be seen by one of our Walk-In healthcare providers.
Holiday hours are advertised in the Press & Sun
Bulletin. You can contact our walk-in office by
calling 607-771-7234.
Convenient Location:
Located on Robinson Street with easy access from I-81 off Broad
Ave. Plenty of parking with easy access to our office. Our facility
is a street-level building which provides easy access to our
patients in wheelchairs or with disabilities.
In Case of Emergency:
Go to the nearest hospital emergency department if you have chest
pains, difficulty breathing, serious injury or bleeding, severe
pain, or are pregnant and experiencing contractions.
Our Staff
Our physicians are board certified and accepting new
patients. Same day sick calls are available for established
patients. We treat patients of all ages and offer services such as women's health.
Office Telephones
Professional staff are available to take your calls during
office hours. If our office is closed and you have an
emergency, you can reach the on-call provider by
dialing 607-722-2769. Your call will be returned as soon as
possible, so be sure that your phone is available to receive the
call. Calls for routine requests should be
made during regular office hours.
Lab & X-Ray Services
Laboratory services are available Monday
through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Lab services are
available by appointment only. To make an appointment call
607-722-2769.
X-ray services are available daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Prescriptions and Forms
All refills must be requested 48 hours in advance, Monday
through Friday. Refills will be called into the pharmacy by the end
of the next business day. Requests can be made by calling our
prescription refill line at 607-722-2769 ext 3. You can also
request a prescription
renewal online. If you are ill, diagnosing and
prescribing over the phone is usually not in your best interest and
we encourage you to call and make an appointment.
Please plan ahead and allow 7-10 business days for completion of
all forms.
What to bring to your first office visit
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment in
order to complete a new patient information packet. We request that
you bring all insurance cards and a list of all medications that
you are taking, including all over the counter medications and
herbal remedies. If you are transferring from another office,
please arrange to have your records transferred prior to your
appointment.
Appointments
Calls to schedule appointments should be made during office
hours.
Things to Have Before Calling the Office
- A list of symptoms.
- Names and dosages of any medications taken.
- A list of any allergies to medications.
- Name, location and telephone number of your pharmacy.
- Insurance information - Please inform our staff if you are a
member of a HMO or managed care plan.
Missed Appointments
Please call the office 24 hours in advance if you are unable to
keep an appointment. Providers have a daily preset schedule.
Arriving late to your appointment will delay other appointments and
you may be asked to reschedule. Missing appointments may
result in a dismissal from the practice.
Reminders
- Insurance cards must be presented at the time of visit.
- Co-payments are expected at the time of visit.
- Information about financial
assistance is available by calling 607-798-5506 or
607-798-5229.
Insurance Referrals
Managed care insurance plans usually require a referral from
your primary care provider for appointments with specialists,
emergency room visits, out-of-network physician visits, etc.
It is your responsibility to inform this office at least 48 hours
in advance for the authorization. Our office should be
notified the next working day of any emergency visits.

Dorene specializes in Family Practice. She received her Nursing and Masters Degree from SUNY Binghamton and is a Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Ashok graduated from the University of Sindh, Nawabshah, Pakistan. She completed her residency at Ghent Family Medicine in Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. Dr. Ashok is board certified in Family Practice.
