MedlinePlus is a collection of high quality, authoritative and up to date health sites compiled by the National Library of Medicine. MedlinePlus has extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 650 diseases and conditions. In addition, there are lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia, a medical dictionary, prescription and nonprescription drug information, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials.  http://medlineplus.gov

The Consumer and Patient Health Information Section (CAPHIS) of the Medical Library Association sponsors this list of the top 100 health Web sites. DrugDigest is a noncommercial, evidence-based, consumer health and drug information site dedicated to empowering consumers to make informed choices about drugs and treatment options.  http://www.drugdigest.org

Lab Tests Online is designed to help the consumer "to better understand the many clinical lab tests that are part of routine care as well as diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of conditions and diseases."
