Stephen R. LauterbachLourdes is proud to welcome Stephen R. Lauterbach, MD to Lourdes Vascular Surgery.  His office will be located at 161 Riverside Drive, Suite 105 in Binghamton.  

Dr. Lauterbach received his medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, completed a general surgery residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. In 2000, he was awarded the R. Clement Darling Jr. award at the New England Society for Vascular Surgery for his clinical research.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in vascular surgery as well as general surgery and practices vascular and endovascular surgery. He is a member of numerous societies including the Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and Peripheral Vascular Surgical Society.

Dr. Lauterbach’s interests include treatment of aortic aneurysms often with minimally invasive techniques, limb salvage for patients with peripheral vascular disease including diabetic foot, venous disorders, carotid occlusive disease and access for patients requiring hemodialysis.
