Surgical Suites and Open MRI Open House

On April 15, 2010, just over a year after breaking ground for the Mission 2012 project, Lourdes held an associate Open House to showcase the new Surgical Suites and Open MRI Suite. Lourdes associates were able to tour the newly completed areas and learn about the new technology featured in each suite.

Emergency Department
Some final touches on the Open MRI Suite. Metal detectors have been installed in the doorway of the Open MRI Suite.
The Oasis Open MRI System is nearly ready. We expect to begin using the system for patient appointments within the next week. These coils conform to the part of the body being scanned to reduce patient re-positioning and improve image quality.
