The Social Activities
Committee plans many activities throughout the year to provide
employees with entertainment outside of work.
Activities include:
- Bus trips
- Annual Employee Picnic
- Sports outings
- Holiday parties
- Children's activities
- Etc.
Employee Recognition
The annual Employee Recognition Dinner Dance lets employees get
together to recognize fellow employees who are receiving awards for
their milestone years of service. In addition, three outstanding
employees are recognized monthly as Value Inspired Persons. The VIP
award is a peer award given to those who truly exemplify the values
and mission of Lourdes.
Employee Fitness Center
The Lourdes Hospital Fitness Program serves hospital employees,
volunteers and spouses of all members with a convenient, on-site,
state-of-the-art fitness center. The Fitness Center staff can
provide you with an initial fitness evaluation and assist you in
designing a comprehensive, individualized program to suit your
personal goals. The Fitness Center offers the following equipment:
Aerobic - Treadmills, Preference Stationary Cycles, Stairmaster
4000-PTs, Tectrix Climbmax, Upper Body Ergometers, Monark Arm
Ergometer, Cross Conditioning XL100 Skier and Cybex Rcumbent
Cycles. Strength - Free Weights from 5 to 50 lbs, Incline benches,
Cybex Training Equipment (LAT Row, LAT Pulldown, Chest Press,
Abdominal, Back Extension, Cable Column, Seated Leg Curl, Leg
Extension). The Fitness Center is open to employees anytime except
Mon - Fri 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM to
4:00 PM and on Sat from 8:00 AM to Noon.
Membership includes the use of showers and lockers. Lourdes
employees receive a 25% discount on their membership that is
covered by the Management Safety Accountability Program making the
cost $37.50 for a six-month membership.
