Lourdes Hospital is celebrating Earth Day 2013 and all of the Green Initiatives implemented by the hospital over the past year!
The Earth Day celebration will be held April 16, from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Lecture Hall at Lourdes Hospital.

National Gambling Awareness Week is March 3-9 and focuses on educating about problem gambling. The Lourdes Alcohol and Drug Education Prevention Team (ADEPT) have been providing the Broome County community with prevention education for over 10 years. ADEPT is participating in the 2013 Parenting Focused Problem Gambling Outreach and Education Project and will be educating parents about the signs and dangers of youth gambling.

As a member of Ascension Health, Lourdes has decided to adopt the Ascension Health Universal Vaccination Program beginning with the Fall 2012 flu season. What this means is that all health care workers at Lourdes will be expected to participate in the program and receive the flu vaccination.
