Evenings/Weekends: 
An on-call physician may be reached. By calling the office telephone number, you will be directed to the physician on call. 
In Case of Emergency: 
Go to the nearest hospital emergency department if you have chest pains, difficulty breathing, serious injury or bleeding, severe pain, or are pregnant and experiencing contractions. 
Convenient Location: 
Located off the Vestal Parkway (Rt. 434) across from the Number 5 Restaurant.  Plenty of parking with easy access to our office. Our facility is a street-level building which provides easy access to our patients in wheelchairs or with disabilities.

Our providers specialize in Internal Medicine and our practice is accepting new patients.  Same day sick calls are available for established patients.  We treat adolescent and adult patients.  Occupational Health services are also available.  Our physicians make rounds at Lourdes.  If hospitalization is required, you can be seen by your Primary Care physician during your hospitalization at Lourdes.  We also offer access to a financial counselor on-site.

Lab & X-Ray Services

Lab services are available 8:00am - Noon.  No appointment is necessary with a physician order.  X-ray services are available from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.  

Prescription Refills

Do not let your prescription run out.  Call at least 48 hours prior to your last pill.  Refills will be called into the pharmacy Monday through Friday after 4:00PM.  Request for refills after Noon will be called into the pharmacy the next day.  Written prescriptions for mail orders pharmacies will be left at the front desk within 24 hours of calling.  Please notify us at your office visit if prescriptions are due to be refilled.  You can also request a prescription renewal online.

Insurance Referrals 

Managed Care insurance plans require a referral from your primary care provider for appointments with specialists, emergency room visits, out of network physician visits, etc. It is your responsibility to inform this office at least 48 hours in advance for the authorization. Our office should be notified the next working day of any emergency visits.

Reminders

1. Insurance cards must be presented at the time of visit. 
2. Co-payments are expected at the time of visit. 
3. All insurance companies require us to verify all identifying information at the time you present for each visit to prevent errors that might result in a rejection of payment by your insurer.

Appointments

Calls to schedule appointments should be made during office hours listed above. Sick appointments fill up quickly, so you should call early in the day. Please call the office 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment.

Missing appointments may result in dismissal from practice. Providers have a daily preset schedule, therefore, arriving late will delay other appointments and you may be asked to reschedule. Walk-ins can result in a long wait because scheduled appointments will be seen first. 

Meet Our Providers

Joseph F. Brunt, RRT, RPA-C Joseph Brunt attended Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA. He serves adolescent through geriatric patients with an emphasis on preventative medicine and patient education. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He lives in the Binghamton area with his wife and two sons.

Svetlana Budman, MD Dr. Budman graduated from Kisinev Medical School and specializes in Internal Medicine. She is fluent in Russian.

Maria G. Galu, MD Dr. Galu graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania and is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is fluent in French. Dr. Galu lives in the area with her husband and five children.

Kiran A. Talati, MD Dr. Talati graduated from NHL Municipal Medical College, India and specializes in Internal Medicine. He is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
