Parents
and Children Together (PACT) is a Parents As Teachers home visiting program
that offers services to families living in Broome and Tioga Counties.
Services are offered from pregnancy until their child reaches age five. PACT home visitors bring toys, books,
activities, and information to stimulate your child's development. PACT recognizes you, the parents,
as your child's first and foremost teachers. PACT home visits are fun for the parents as well
as the children.
PACT's Fatherhood Advocates recognize the importance of fathers and provide home
visits, groups and outings to fathers and their families. PACT services also include periodic
art, music, and storytelling groups for parents and children. Family Service Advocates and Fatherhood
Advocates use the Parents As Teachers curricula. All Lourdes PACT advocates are certified by the
Parents As Teachers National Center as Parent Educators.
