Mission 2012: Building Tomorrow’s Health Care
Today
Lourdes Hospital broke ground on this major renovation project in March
2009. While placing stronger emphasis on outpatient services and
patient-friendly facilities, Lourdes is also committed to integrating
state-of-the-art technology with the professional and experienced staff at
the hospital. The project includes expansion and upgrading of the Emergency
Department and Radiology Department, redesign of the Lourdes Surgical
Department, the construction of an Ambulatory Care Center with a new
two-story main entrance, as well as a new parking garage and flood wall.
In an effort to support the larger 3-year, $70 million
Mission 2012 project,
the Lourdes Hospital Foundation is committed to raising $6 million towards
this most important and vital project.

“Shoulder to Shoulder” Campaign: Hancock Healthcare Clinic
The Lourdes Primary Care Practice in Hancock, New York has grown year by
year. For 3 years, Dr. Richard Berg has provided primary health care
to the Village of Hancock and the surrounding communities. The
practice has grown significantly, necessitating expansion and improvement of
the facilities. The “Shoulder to Shoulder” Campaign is nearing
completion of the fundraising phase to build a new Hancock Health Care
Building to accommodate the growth and provide opportunities for new
services today and into the future.
